About this role

Operate GRT's fleet of battery-electric passenger buses safely along designated corridors connecting Stone Town, Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, and major island routes across Zanzibar. Ensure punctual route execution while prioritizing passenger comfort and safety.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, monitor battery state-of-charge, and coordinate schedule updates with central dispatch. Assist local commuters and international visitors with boarding and route inquiries in Swahili and English.

Requirements: Valid PSV driving licence recognized in Zanzibar, minimum 3 years of commercial passenger vehicle experience, clean driving record, and customer service orientation. Comprehensive EV driver safety and battery management training provided by GRT at the Zanzibar depot.
