EV Maintenance Technician

About this role

Execute routine maintenance, diagnostic checks, and electrical repairs across GRT's electric bus fleet and central depot high-voltage charging infrastructure in Zanzibar.

Diagnose battery management systems (BMS), electric traction motors, regenerative braking systems, and passenger climate control units. Maintain digital service logs and depot spare parts inventory.

Requirements: Diploma or vocational certificate in Auto-Electrics, Electrical Engineering, or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. Previous experience with commercial vehicles or electrical systems preferred. Specialized EV manufacturer training provided upon hire.
